About
I am currently a Ph.D. candidate graduate in Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder working with Dirk Grunwald. I began my Ph.D. work in 2006. I received my M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado in 2006 and my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan in 2000.
Professional Interests
My current academic research is in the area of compilation for parallel and heterogeneous computing. I have also worked in the areas of software defined radio, computer networking, and computer architecture. I want to make computer systems work better all levels of the software stack and I am broadly interested in developing programming tools which further this goal. I am comfortable with a variety of programming languages and I am as happy analyzing machine code for performance problems as I am using high-level dynamic languages.
